Rivers
- Anthony Kill - Scrapey at 3,800. Great at 7,500. Great at 12,000. Irene at 100,000.
- Poestenkill - Underpowered/scrapey at 3,500
- Middle Kayaderosseras - Always fun (need to look into water levels)
- Upper Kayaderosseras - Impassable rocky shoals at 2,000. Thrilling, dangerous at 10,000.
- Lower Alplaus Kill - Great fun at 6,000 one day, low/bad @ 6,000, scratchey @ 8,000 another day, wild @ 10,000 (?)
- Upper Alplaus Kill - Awful at 7,000.
- Mourning Kill
- Ballston Creek
- Geyser Creek
- Normanskill
- Hudson (Up north)
- Schroon
- Scoharie
- Vly Creek
- West Canada Creek
- Westfield River, MA

Safe/Fun
- Heavy rain (10,000 - 18,000)
- Try Indian Kill (not sure if it's doable or not, explore on foot first)
- Ballston Creek (doable at 10,000 and 20-39,000)
- Upper Alplaus Kill (Sucked at 7,000)
- Lower Alplaus Kill (Looks like it might be great fun at higher water levels, but haven't tried it)
- Mourning Kill (fun w/scrapes at 18,000)
- Anthony Kill (wild at 12,000)
- Geyser Creek (lame at 20,000)
- Normanskill (Calm and pleasant at 6,000)
- Middle Kayaderosseras - Generally always seems to be ok from what I have seen so far
- Lower Kayaderosseras - Should be tamer than middle
- Mild rain (7,500-10,000)
- Anthony Kill (great fun at 7,500)
- Poestenkill (ok @ 3,500 - could be very fun with a bit more water)
- Normanskill (Calm and pleasant at 6,000)
- Upper Kayaderosseras (Wild and scary at 10,000)
Ideas:
- db of locations for inches of rain. Db of rainfall for each loc. Db of watershed locations for each river. Avg rainfall across watershed or sum and estimate water level for each river. Generate a number to represent current lvl. Relate that number to trip reports and geolocated photos.
- generate a bmp of water lvl data. Run odetlap on it to fill in empty spaces. Use this to avg rainfall data.
