- French Fries
- Russet potatoes, Peanut oil, Kosher Salt.  Oil at 375 degrees til golden brown.  (alt. fry twice: 325 til blond, 375 til brown)
 
  - Sorbet (Cut up and puree fruit, freeze in shallow container, break icy fruit pieces, process til smooth, freeze again)
- Banana, kiwi, strawberry, mango
- I used winter fruits (1 banana, 2 kiwis, several lbs of strawberries), and the flavor was too bland.  Needs really good fruit.  Sugar might be necessary.
 
  
  - Chicken Liver Pate (Better H&G FP book)
- 1 lb chicken livers, onion, butter, mayo, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt, dry mustard, pepper (garnish: parsley, hard-boiled egg)
- This recipe came out perfectly.
 
  
  - Borscht http://www.ukraineorphans.net/id34.html (Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook p.132)(Better H&G FP book)
- 1 lb beef brisket, 2 carrots, 1 celery stalk, bay leaf, 3 medium beets, salt, 1/2 can tomato paste, sugar, 1/2 a head of cabbage, cider vinegar, garnish w/sour cream)
- I took a lot of liberties with this recipe, skipping most of the meat stuff, and the result was not bad but unspectacular.  The color from the beets is awesome.
 - Serve w/Crusty hot bread and butter
 
  
  - Potato Latkes (Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook p.426), (Cooking With Love p. 514 - 3 recipes)
- 4 Potatoes, onion, 2 eggs, flour, salt, pepper, oil, parsley
- Serve with sour cream and applesauce
 - This recipe came out perfectly, should try the other recipes.
 
  
  - Cream cheese w/lox
 - Shredded cabbage for sauerkraut (shredder or slicer?  French fry disk maybe even)
 - Peanut/almond butter  (Sunflower seed butter?)
 - Carrot puree
 - Mustard with Horseradish
 - Chopped ice

 - Pizza/Pasta Dough, Pie Crust
 - Potatoes Au Gratin
 - Veggie puree for soups

 - Garlic butter, caper butter, lemon-chive butter
