Formatting the memory card (blindly, because the video screen is ruined):
- Select playback mode (as opposed to camera or video mode).
- Power the camera on
- I should be on the Format/Delete menu, the menu has 3 options.
- Move to the top choice and press Menu/Ok
- Press Ok a again to agree to "are you sure?"
- The camera should hang out for a minute, and not beep while I push the arrow buttons.
- That's it! It's formatted!
